commission process

1. design consultation

Every piece of bespoke furniture begins with a discussion. This no-charge consultation helps us to determine the scope of the project to best meet your needs. This can take place via email, text, or phone call. There are no commitments until the project moves forward into design development.

2. design development

After getting a working understanding of what you would like, we discuss the contract and compensation structure. This includes outlining the number of iterations the project will go through. As the project is custom for you, it is important that your voice is heard, which is what our iterative process is for. The exact scope of this stage is determined on a project-by-project basis, but can include sketch drawings, digital form modeling, material renders, physical mock ups, and more.

3. fabrication

After the design is finalized, the project moves into fabrication. All work occurs in our workshop in Spokane, Washington. Depending on the type of work and your location, we will discuss how to transport it to you. Delivery by bran.d is possible if located in select areas, but a third party such as USPS or UPS is more likely to be contracted. These costs are borne by the client unless otherwise specified.
